| Young violonists impress by their inspired performing both Ukrainian and European audience. Recent school-leavers now students of famous European and American musicians at higher educational establishments A.Savitska, I.Bolotniy, O.Kaskiv, O.Shutko, L.Kurilyak, V.Baran, S.Ivahiv, Z.Sereda replenish prize-winners generation. The gifted youth of the school is represented nowadays by L.Futorska, M.Brilinskiy, Yu.Rizun, O.Vavrichin, M.Lomaha, M.Karapinka, I.Onishko, A.Velichko, I.Husar, M.Krasnyuk, N.Privalova, M.Bura, V.Zatsiha and many others. The first-rate band and orchestra-players, department ex-pupils can be seen in Ukrainian and numerous European orchestras.
The department of wind and percussion instruments includes eight specialities i. e. flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, French horn, trombone and saxophone. A great number of its exceptional pupils are on their way to the Music Olympus: M.Semotyuk, A.Ivankiv, M.Fesyuk, M.Storozhinskiy, Yu.Kovalishin, V.Valterov, Yu.Litun, N.Yaremchuk. All of them are the laureates of International competitions. They are taught by highly qualified masters: professor V.Nosov, Honoured Art Worker V.Antoniv, assistant professor V.Shvets, I.Levkovich, K.Hennel, L.Zakopets. The world famous flute-player D.Bida (International Competition was named after him), professor V.Seminichenko, assistant professors V.Pryadkin, Yu.Smirnov laid the foundations and developped the art of wind instruments playing in Halichina. They were teaching at school during different periods of time. The department leavers are soloists of many orchestras and bands. They work not only in academic collectives but in military and national wind orchestras. Last decades revealed the names of Yu.Vasilevich, Yu.Kravitskiy, A.Shutko, A.Karpyak.

| The vocal class for senior pupils has been opened recently at school. It is led by L.Bozhko, People's Artist of Ukraine, Soloist of the Moscow Bolshoi Theatre and Lviv Opera House. Outstanding singers L.Zhilkina and O.Yarema-Krovitska are the school-leavers.
During last decade school academic trend was enlarged by bandura one of the oldest Ukrainian national instruments, L.Posikira, Honoured Artist of Ukraine, T.Lazurkevich, Laureate of the International Competitions, teach their pupils the principles of Kobzars' art. The school has recognized laureates of the International Competitions N.Kovalyova, S.Moskvyak. The bandura ensemble (creative manager A.Lanova) enriches the concerts.
From the first form pupils study theoretical nature of music, master their ear for music at the solfeggio lessons, get acquainted with the works of the outstanding composers. Music and Theory Department is famous for its traditions and its well-known leavers. Methodologists and highly-qualified teachers work both with musicians and future music experts and composers at the department of Theory and Composition.Yunior pupils can choose the main speciality which will become their leading one in the upper grades. During the long period of time this class was headed by V.Flis an excellent methodologist, composer, the author of the "Solfeggio" manual. The teachers D.Zador, Ya. Yakubyak worked with young composers whose pieces of music v are performed at the International festivals and have been included into the world repertoire.
Young talents, the pupils of the school and its recent leavers A.Pasaman, M.Ryasanova, N.Lozova, M.Slyepchenko are prize-winners of the International Competitions.

| Theoretical department is represented by skilled professionals V.Kozlov, assistant professor, I.Drozdova, I.Zemlyana, A.Petrashek, I.Mishchuk, L.Nazar who develop pedagogical principles of M.Bilinska, M.Brilinska, V.Konotop, V.Zaderatskiy. The names of the musicologists, school-leavers, gaining high degrees and titles can be seen in serious International art publications as the authors' of monographes, manuals and articles. They take part in radio and TV programmes (professor L.Kiyanovska, assistant professor N.Shvets, post-graduate students and competitors R.Misko, Ya.Horak, S.Tihiy, L.Melnik, L.Lantsuta).
Senior pupils have classes of choral and symphonic conducting where they are taught the principles of choirmastery (B.Martinovskiy) and symphonic conducting (R.Filipchuk). Still young school-leavers, conductors Ya.Kolessa, B.Dashak, Yu.Holota are famous in Ukraine and abroad.
There are two chamber and one symphonic orchestras at school. Serious world classic music is included into their repertoire. Chamber orchestra (creative manager M.Hunevich) was the International prize-winner for two times. Symphonic orchestra is guided by O.Kozak, the Honoured Art Worker of Ukraine. School orchestra was constantly led by prominent conductors M.Kolessa, Yu.Lutsiv. A considerable success in improving of the performing level was achieved by Z.Ostafiychuk (assistant professor at the Higher State Music Institute) now followed by T.Lisenko (postgraduate student of the same higher educational establishment).
Choral singing is Ukrainian genetic feature. It can be always heard at school which has three choruses. Choral singing is an obligatory school subject. For a long time the choir was led by S.Ambartsumyan. Today its creative manager is O.Hoba who has obtained two International prizes the last one being the Grand - Prix at the competition in Holland.
All the pupils irrespective of their speciality have piano lessons for eleven years. This department is headed by an experienced teacher I.Halai, O.Nebozhinska, T.Poznyakevich, S.Makivnichuk are the best teachers.
At the concertmaster classes and chamber ensemble pupils improve themselves in these kinds of music activity. Not only solo career waits for them in future. They may become ensemble players or accompanists. Both studies and concert performance are impossible without concertmastery. This department is represented by International prize-winners O.Hereha, Yu.Fomenko, O.Fesyuk, A.Hrihorchuk, A.Bozhenko, I.Kolomiyets, I.Levitska.

Teachers methodologists M.Popil (Ukrainian lenguage and literature), O.Martinovich (physics), senior teachers M.Koval (Ukrainian language and literature), M.Dyadyuh (Ukrainian language and literature), O.Kurach (mathematics) work at this department.
Foreign languages are taught by M.Movchan, B.Slodinitska, O.Hasko, O.Prodan, N.Roman. S.Nastyuk and H.Hretchin are the teachers of mathematics .
Pupils are got acquainted with the world literature by their teacher N.Bielih. Teachers B.Nishchiy (geography) and O.Mihaleiko (biology) help their pupils to understand and protect nature. Pupils go in for sports and have physical training lessons with the teachers M.Nizhnik and L.Kuhta.
The primary school teachers O.Nastyuk, I.Zaharko, H.Artim, O.Kopets and senior teacher V.Skovronska working with the youngest pupils lay the fundamentals of their knowledge.
The school welcomes gifted young people from all Western region of Ukraine. There is a boarding house at school accommodating 120 pupils. The tutors N.Diduh, S.Kisil, V.Fents, L.Petriv, Z.Dutko, O.Halchak, H.Horska, H.Yaremchuk are headed by P.Borusyak (a senior tutor). At the boarding house pupils of the primary school are professionally helped by tutors S.Kolessa, N.Kriminska, Z.Virsta.
