It is impossible to imagine art life of the city without the school constantly leading active concert life i.e. Sundays "Symphonic Parties", thematic concerts in Lviv Philharmonic Hall, in the Opera House and Organ Music Hall. The school pupils present their art both in Ukraine and abroad (Poland, Germany,Hungary, Czech Republic, etc.) They maintain close international contacts in the sphere of concert exchange and music educational establishments cooperation (Hungary, Sweden, Poland, Germany).

The school is closely connected with the Higher State Musical Institute named after M.Lisenko. Professors' staff working at school provides constant methodological support, diversifies and enriches the process of studies. In the great majority the pupils become students of the basic higher educational establishment though the geography of the school-leavers is extremely wide: studies at the prestige higher schools abroad, work in the best world orchestras, music educational establishments, theatres, cultural institutions.
Famous musicians are frequent guests at school as participants of creative meetings and teachers of Master class. Memorable school events include meetings with celebrated performers S.Rihter, L.Kohan, H.Neihauz, D.Ojstrah, M.Rostropovich, Yu.Lisichenko, D.Ioffe, M.Abramyan; composers S.Lyudkevich, M.Skorik, A.Hachaturyan, M.Kuzan; musicologists S.Pavlishin and V.Zaderatskiy. Lviv secondary specialized music boarding school named after S.Krushelnitska being the only one in the Western region of Ukraine is financed by the state. It has been marked for its activity many times. The school has 72 laureates and diplomaeds of the International and All-Ukrainian competitions, two State stiependiaries. Seven pupils are grant-aided by the President of Ukraine.
In spite of its long history the school is now an educational establishment of the new type combining harmoniously traditions and modern methods of teaching, high teachers' potential and pupils' talents. Young musicians daily studying at school classrooms create the future of the Independent Ukraine culture. They embody our hopes for future and will carry Ukrainian culture into the 21-st century. These gifted young people belong to those who will follow coryphaei's creative activity of the European musical art.
